Robert, thank you for the link to the Boston Globe series. Couldn't agree more with The Case for Prosecuting Donal Trump but I, sadly, hold low expectations that he or his lackey's will ever be prosecuted for their actions.
A great morning start to hope for success in 2022. Democrats in my part of the woods are enthusiastic about 2022. Turn out as many Dems as possible and encourage Non-Politically Aligned to join us.
The final section references former guy's dream of "reinstatement." The term terrifies me. Reasonable people know there's no legal, procedural way for this to occur. I believe this is a call to his followers to do something (bad-ugly-violent-shocking) in August. If it were to succeed, the former guy would want to be called "president" but would be, in fact, a strongman installed through a violent coup. They hope it would be reported, blandly, as his "reinstatement as president."
"Let’s hope that Garland is listening to the profound disappointment with his prosecutorial judgments and apparent indifference in the face of a brewing constitutional crisis." Another Charlie Brown and the football moment! Remember how sure we were that Manchin would see the light and change his mind? I'm not hanging my hopes on Garland. Someone suggested that Obama picked him as a Supreme Court nominee because he was so moderate he knew Republican senators would support him. Well now they must be cheering him on!
i am very concerned that Garland is not going to be the person we need now in theJustice Dept. I hope he does not perform as a he has thus far.. Tomorrow should be a revealing day. He needs to be tough and cleanse the Dept and renew Americans confidence in our democracy.
Your 'Barr's Visit' timeline of the clearing of Lafayette Park Square is brilliant!! And thank you for your words about Garland. He is in a difficult position, but he needs to rise to the occasion for the good of American democracy.

He will at least be indicted in NY, but conviction is uncertain. Garland is the wildcard, but his silence is worrisome.

Great to hear!
I corrected the second reference to Mark Greenblatt's name (which erroneously said "Greenberg.")
