Thank you for calling out Sinema, Ingraham, and AOC for tasteless snarkiness; we must stay focussed. One day at a time is all any human can manage!

Sinema's unfortunate note to a newspaper opposing $3.5T, was probably her demonstrating that she is not an appendage of Joe Manchin. The whole process is a slog, but it is also shows us Joe Biden's patience and commitment to getting legislation done.

Agree, Len. I think she may have also made a deal with the GOP members of the negotiating team to give them political cover from Trump's criticisms of their vote. That is not necessarily an unreasonable thing to do, but Sinema does not appear to understand the level of unhappiness with her in the Democratic Party. I believe that an early poll shows her losing to a Democratic primary challenger.

My wife and I contributed to her win in 2016. I have called her offices and told them not to count on us for 2022, if she continues her obdurate conduct. I cannot believe that the majority of those who supported her are happy with her grandstanding . Before closing I want to call attention to Garland's Justice Department doubling down on state voter suppression and audit activities. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/28/us/politics/justice-department-elections-audits.html?smid=em-share

Instead of saying that this vote was a win for Biden and Schumer...how about saying it is a win for the American people...because, ultimately, that is what we all care about, isn't it?

That is a good point, but the truth is that the vote is procedural in nature only. it is a good omen, but there is still plenty of opportunity to go off the rails. When Biden signs the bill(s), that will be a victory for the American people.

Sinema has gotten herself into a peculiar position for someone who started out as pretty left wing.

Forget George Carlin's routine on the ten words considered obscene and forbidden to say on TV! Laura Ingraham displayed a new form of obscenity as she dishonored the four officers who testified before the House Committee!

I watched a woman beautiful enough to be a Hollywood star spew hate-filled words and shook my head at the cognitive dissonance between her beauty and her vile words! I await the Lincoln Project's listing of Ingraham's sponsors and hope I can actively avoid their products!
