So happy to know, at this hour, that Facebook did the right thing, at least to cover the next six months. Fingers crossed for the final and permanent decision to be made at the end of that period.
I will write about the Advisory Board's decision tonight. Facebook itself has not shown courage or self-awareness in the past. But we should keep up the pressure on Facebook to do the right thing.
I would take Deborah's comment one step further, beyond just being a like-minded community. I wish there were some overarching national organization that could coordinate the activities of all the splinter and volunteer groups around the country who want to act in a focused and effective way. Do you know of any?

Hi, Deborah. Thanks for your note. The newsletter is currently being viewed on average of 30,000 times a day (depending on topic). Two days ago (when I ranted about the 6th District low turnout, views spiked at 41,000. I send the newsletter directly to subscribers on my list, but people can view the newsletter directly at https://roberthubbell.substack.com. I believe that the 16 people you mention are the number of paying subscribers who used the social-media "Like" button (heart-shaped) to indicate their approval of the newsletter.
Very good to know, Robert, and gratifying, too! So fortuitously wonderful that we have our online communities during these very tough times. There are simply times when we need to be around people who can support us rather than argue, push-back, and disagree.
