Good morning, everyone! Kamala Harris and Tim Walz turned in another strong performance on Saturday with a packed rally in Las Vegas!
Trouble appears to be brewing in the GOP over a hack of emails (by Iran?) that Politico received on July 22 and sat on for three weeks. See WaPo: Trump campaign says it is victim of foreign hack after leak of Vance report. (Accessible to all.) WaPo also has the materials but has not made them available to the public.
The story is covered in red flags. Let’s see how it develops—and see whether the media applies a different standard than it did when it freely published the DNC emails in 2016 and private emails and texts from Hunter Biden’s stolen laptop. So far, no outlet has published the hacked materials from the Trump campaign.
In 2016, Trump declared, “I love Wikileaks” when it published emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Let’s see how he feels now that the GOP’s research on JD Vance has been stolen and is in the hands of at least two news organizations.

The North America Nebula is 2,600 light-years from Earth and 90 light-years in diameter.
To me, the nebula looks like a giant pair of wings flying through space. (A classic case of pareidolia.) But I am nonetheless taken back to my days as an English major in college and John Milton’s opening passage from Paradise Lost, invoking the Heavenly Muse, whom Milton describes as follows:

However, I am now wondering if that is how ProPublica got the 14 hours of Project 2025 training video. I just know that they got if from a leak. In any case, I am glad they published it because we the people should know what Trump has planned and he does not say anything of substance when he rambles on at the press, spewing his antidemocratic propaganda.
