Indivisible Evanston, IL had a great display of true patriotism & got lots of shouts and applause from the crowd.
I passed out many hundreds of flyers with links to easy activism opportunities…
Shouting “ Help save our democracy, everyone can do something!” Along the entire parade route, I was pleased at how many folks took the flyers…
Sometimes, when they would clap for the marchers and the little piggies float, I would add, “Clapping is nice, doing something is even better!”

You are all beautiful people for using your voice. I get down more often lately as I hate the adult child that he is, and mostly the cruel things he does to people. Immigrants have been important to our country. I want a person who loves the American people, all of them. I like the leadership of someone like Zohran Mamdani and his policies too. All of us should have Medicare for all, government childcare, affordable housing, no more wars. Other countries already have these things & we are a very rich country. Tax the oligarchs, make them contribute to Social Security, they live here too & don’t pay taxes. I want a just country. There is so much more as I think we have all suffered thru the age of trumps. We want them to face their crimes and be put in prison. Climate Change will kill us all if we don’t get busy working on it. Please hear our voices. Justice for the victims of Epstein & others.
