Comment section open to all readers on Debate Night

Hi, everyone!
I have opened a Substack Chat to all readers. You should have received an email with a link to join the Chat. No pressure! Lots of people will skip the debate and look for analyses tomorrow. That is an understandable and reasonable approach.
For readers who are more comfortable with commenting in response to a newsletter, I am opening the Comment section to this newsletter for all readers (free and paying subscribers).
I am busy working on tonight’s newsletter (another big day at the Supreme Court) and will be monitoring the debate and fact-checking sites, so I may not be able to check in during the debate. Please be on your best behavior and stick to the issues!

To sort comments by the most recent, go to the first comment. IN the upper left, there is a dialog link that says "Top first." Click the down arrow next to the Top First and select "Newest First." that way the most recent comment will be on the top
