For those looking for direct links to boycott, protest, cancel subscriptions, etc: I've compiled some:

After Disney caved to DeSantis, I cancelled Disney; now just cancelled Hulu. Time for Substack to live steam Jimmy Kimmel and soon, Steve Colbert!

Thank you for the information. My husband and I wrote to Bob Iger at Disney-ABC expressing our outrage at suspending Jimmy Kimmel and saying we plan to cancel Hulu.

Thank you for this. I don’t subscribe to any of these, but if I did, I would definitely cancel them. I’m fed up with corporate America, their brands, their greed and their spin. Spineless, hateful, cowardly people creating illusions of happiness under the spell of a weak and thuggish regime. People need art, laughter, joy, and spirit now. Disney is a celluloid cesspool. We need to imagine and help build a better world beyond glamour, glitz, and. celebrity influencers and followers. That’s where my energy is going. There and joining peaceful protests.

Susan, you can still email to voice your opposition. They're not sitting there checking the emails against subscriber names! The important thing is to flood these corporations and individuals with outrage.

That's great to know. I'll do this. Thank you so much.

Best comment I've seen. Will do.

I think an all-time great demonstration should be organized organized for and with the full participation of Steven Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, John Stewart, Seth Myers and Jimmy Fallon. It would create a critical mass of combustible political humor that would rock the nation and drive the right completely bonkers.

It seems like a good way for the Democrats to handle the Kimmel firing is to focus on Trump's weakness - he can dish it out (criticism) but he's too thin skinned to handle it..he's weak.

My Facebook Comment--"We just cancelled our Hulu subscription. I guess more reading, writing, and let Disney to the math." Thanks, all, for the encouragement.

Canceled Hulu. Had to go to the feedback link to tell them why. Also sent an email to Iger. Thanks for the links!

My letter to Iger:

Mr Iger:

Like millions of people, I am appalled by your decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel off the air for calling out Republican hypocrisy on the murder of Charlie Kirk.

When I first started studying history, and for many times since then, I often asked myself what would I do if I were living in Germany during the rise of Hitler. Would I go on leading my life, ignoring the discrimination against, disappearance and murder of my neighbors, the end of civil liberties, extrajudicial killings, attacks on the freedom of the media and the judiciary. Or worse, as a powerful business owner, would I obey the regime in advance and even collaborate with it, as long as I could keep my comfortable life and my money? Where do you think you fit in that picture now?

You still have the chance to put Kimmel back on the air. Take it.

Perfect. If he reads any of these letters, one would have to imagine this one would touch his soul, if he has one. Let's hope that these CEO's still have some decency, no matter how invisible it appears at the moment.

Good letter to Igor. Thanks, Laura Mosedale.

Appalled by the cancel culture of the Trump administration. Will be writing to Iger for sure. Thanks for supplying emails.

Additional thought-a letter to your local newspaper’s editor condemning Bob Eiger’s action in cancelling Jimmy Kimmel is in order. I’m thinking about cc’ing Eiger on my letter. Infuriating that this man who sort of stood up to DeSatan would bend the knee so terribly to the orange tyrant.

In addition to cancelling your Disney+-ESPN-HULU subscriptions, picket your local ABC station supporting Jimmy Kimmel and Free Speech. Fast action is most effective. The more people you can round up to join you, the better.

I choose to be brave. I choose to be a shining example for others. I choose to never surrender, no matter what.

Remember “We Are the World”. Why not gather the leading and most popular comedians and have them hold a public rally, shown on a leading social media platform, and stream a huge collection of jokes about the administration? Make this a “Protect the first amendment” event.

Since I’m in Austin and cannot attend I sent the following to that part of my family living in Santa Monica and the South Bay:

I don’t ask much of you but since I can’t go will any one of you please attend this event in my place. Ella, Lily, Nola, Austin, any of my children, any of my grand children, any of my in laws, my bonus grand children and in law, any of my ex wife’s. It will please me greatly and I will make it up to you. It will also help save democracy!

Thanks. Michael/ dad/ Grampa/ etc.

Your country also thanks you!!!

The triangle is spectacular. Golly. Your inadequate first shots would be the highlight of most exhibits of this form of artistic expression. Thank you for the opportunity to stay sane, strategic, and grateful.

I am beginning to believe that we are being too nice in thinking that Disney/ABC is only worried about repercussions...that in fact they believe they will benefit from an authoritarian in office.

I didn't think this administration believed in cancel culture and wokeness? Sure seems as though that is what is happening. Happy for someone to explain the difference.

Why aren't people using those words to question these decisions? They have been used as a cudgel against the "Leftists" for so long.
