Good Morning All and thank you Robert!

I love hearing about the Tesla rallies. I also found one article in Forbes roughly citing the economic impact of our Feb 28 boycott. It seemed to affect online sales mostly but it was too soon for brick and mortar reports. All round, sales for the culprit stores such as Target were down on that day and Costco was up!! So, sounds like we do have impact and we can consider keeping at it. Maybe we can share wonderful ideas about how to enjoy our lives without so much spending or at least shop local. It’s exciting.

I’m wanting to hear more about the abortion provider arrest in Texas, too. I hope the young women see how us old hippy activists are fighting and grieving for their futures. I know I am.

This is a comment regarding Chuck Shumer: I think on balance he did the right thing. He had no good choices. Essentially it boiled down to Democrats sharing the responsibility for the shutdown with the Republicans or forcing the Republicans to take full responsibility for their mismanagement of government services and the economy. He chose the latter. Viewed in a larger context, Schumer is trying to accelerate the day of reckoning that lies ahead for Trump. The faster inflation rises, employment declines, natural disasters are unmet with federal help, veterans’ needs are unmet, healthcare deteriorates and we pay a heavy price for isolationism, the the more likely control of Congress will shift to the Democrats in the midterm elections.

Unfortunately the Democratic Party is fractured with “progressives” demanding a shutdown rather than voting for the house bill. They naively think that Trump would be blamed. They haven’t learned a thing from the history of such crises. If the party doesn’t come together soon and focus on planning for Trump’s public support collapsed, they might lose the opportunity that is being handed to him.

I just hope these white glove law firms join with the rest of us to protest in the streets about what is happening.

On 9/11, first responders ran TOWARD the towers. I imagine many may have had thoughts about their families in the face of such devastation, but they ran forward. I think our former presidents and cabinet secretaries owe this country their thoughts on the devastation happening right now. We are all being told it is not a time to be quiet; to SPEAK UP. I believe that includes those who have sat at the Resolute Desk.

P.S. I loved the photos of the Tower Bridge on the River Thames--and the bit of history about them that you shared. Thanks!

Thanks, Robert for another great, informative, and inspiring (to action) newsletter. My husband and I participated with Indivisible in a Protest outside a Tesla sales office last week in Portland, Oregon. There were at least 180 people on both sides of the street in front of and across from the Tesla dealership. There were many great signs and we had lots of honks with thumbs up from passers-by.

Onward and upwards: the information you offered regarding Trump's thumbing his nose at the court's order is both scary and energizing. He's committed "another crime" and we the people have to demand that he be impeached for good this time!

How do I attach photos? Might give your readers more ideas for their signs!

Indivisible and allied groups are encouraging nationwide protests for Saturday, April 5. My Indivisible group is using the theme Protect Our Future: Hands Off! (Hands Off! is the national theme). Here's helpful info and an Indivisible toolkit: https://handsoff2025.com/?SQF_SOURCE=indivisible

Be sure to register your protest w/ Indivisible or Mobilize or some other group. This is most likely the first of many protests around the country.

Do you or does anyone reading this know how to find local protest groups? I’m in San Diego, and for some reason online searches have proved useless. I’m at a loss!

This may have been mentioned already, but has anyone considered that Trump can use his Presidential immunity to defy the courts and do whatever he wants? And then pardon anyone who is found guilty of assisting him in any way? What happens then?

Here it is National Action Day, April 5. https://handsoff2025.com/

Robert, If you took a pic of the Tower of London consider photoshopping it and put trusk’s name on it.

So... if Biden's pardons are "void" because they were signed with an autopen, why did the checks that Trump "signed" (Who's your Daddy?) and sent out during the pandemic not bounce?

In case you missed it be sure to Google: Everyone is welcome here. I have just bought T-shirts for my whole family and a few friends. What a great grass roots movement!

You write that "We will need national days of protest soon." How about April 5? See

I found Tesla stock in my portfolio which is managed on a discretionary basis by an investment manager. I instructed the sale of the stock and will be donating the proceeds to the ACLU, Democracy Forward and several organizations which assist immigrants.
