This short note opens the comment section on Sunday morning. I have included the video of my live-stream discussion with Jay Kuo (on Substack as Status Kuo). Jay and I talked about polls and the legacy media (before WaPo’s decision not to endorse a presidential candidate). I enjoyed my discussion with Jay; I hope you do, too!

Below is an image of a nebula designated as NGC 2174, also called the “Monkey Head Nebula.” NGC 2174 is 6,400 light-years from Earth. Per Wikipedia, “Glowing gas and dark dust do not survive well in the Monkey Head Nebula. Young stars near the center of the nebula generate stellar winds and high energy radiation that causes the nebula's material to shift into complex shapes.”
