Framingham MA took to the bridge today with a very special flag. A ca 1944 48 star flag that our member brought- her great uncle was a World War I veteran, this was his casket flag. She said he would have approved. We were honored to have it bear witness with us today.

On Saturday, June 6, about 75 of us gathered in downtown Gainesville, GA, to honor the fallen on D-Day and to reflect on the significance of that event and its relevance to us today. We incorporated Signs of Fascism, and many of us wore handmade knitted or crocheted red hats, a symbol of resistance begun by Norwegian women during WWII.

Suffolk, VA. 9 of us showed up to protest Saturday morning. Several Epstein/Pedo signs are drawing a lot of honks. I do think the people are fed up with the lack of consequences for this behavior. We just keep pushing.

This afternoon Franconia Notch was both rainy and very windy when North Country Resilience volunteers displayed D-Day messages on an I-93 overpass in Franconia, NH. Our messages: HONOR THE FALLEN - VOTE and REAL PATRIOTS FIGHT FASCISM.
There are some days the only newsletter I read is Today's Edition because Robert Hubbell always injects hope and positivity--sharing protest photos are a real emotional/energy boost for me. My husband and I are both retired & disabled but we still resist and raise our voices by attending protests, making calls, and writing letters. Thank you, Mr. Hubbell, for your calm, factual presentation of the news and for the inspiring hope and encouragement for all of us.
Pete Hegseth is literally a stupid man. He simply lacks intelligence. If his D Day speech were a high school essay it would get an F, or at least it would have when I was in HS. It is nonsensical and reveals a complete misunderstanding of WWII.
Hegseth should not be in charge of anything. That he is in charge of the Defense Department is scary as hell, an invitation to disaster and more incomprehensible today than it was 18 months ago.
PS Yeah, he's also a racist asshole, that's just not the subject of this post.
