Sunday Comments Open--3/1/26
March 1, 2026
This short note opens the Sunday comments.
I addressed the US attack on Iran in my Saturday livestream, below. Although my comments were made early Saturday morning, they have held up.
These are trying times. But together, there is nothing we cannot do. It is time for us to revoke the consent of the governed and reassert the primacy of the people and the Constitution as the source of governmental power and legitimacy.

It pains me to have to say this: Please do not use profanity in comments. If you think it is appropriate to do so, you have landed in the wrong community and will be banned permanently. One strike rule. These are tough times and hard subjects to discuss. Let's give people the space to have those hard discussions without profanity, allusions to violence, or personal attacks. Thanks.
I never fail to be touched by the thought, creativity, love, and personal time and effort that people around the country are putting into these actions. Going out in the bitter cold! Finding the subsidiary of GEO group that makes ankle monitors and surveillance technology for ICE to protest outside that location! The wonderful signs that range from straightforward handwriting to artistic painting to a quilted banner to paying for a sign printed at a shop! Bridge brigades! And pithy messages all 'round! Love love love to all.
