I’m searching for a video I saw on Substack - about Greenland, DemonFlyingFox the creator or distributor. How does one search?? I can’t find it - someone please help me! (87 & not too digitally savvy!) It had fabulous music, portrayed animals, walrus & polar bears, defending their home.
Not to discount the fact that Trump’s threat to “punish” eight European companies for not supporting the US effort to conquer Greenland is the height of stupidity, but it is inherently illegal and unconstitutional.
When will the Supreme Court issue its shadow docket decision concerning Trump’s tariffs??? When they do, it will help define whether the majority support the constitution (to a minimum degree) or sedition.
A view from MN, in response to sime local people lamenting confrontations with ICE. ... Violent attacks on ICE officers are never appropriate and neither are violent attacks by ICE officers appropriate either. No one argues that violent offenders need to face justice. But a New York Times article reprinted in the MN StarTrib on Dec 7th stated that despite the administration's claim that it is rounding up “the worst of the worst,” “[t]he share of people arrested under [President] Trump for past violent crime convictions like assault, robbery or homicide was down to 5% by mid-October compared to 24% in 2024." Peaceful protests and documenting ICE's behavior is constitutionally protected. A StarTrib article just this morning (1/15) indicates that 9% of ICE and Border Patrol officers are in MN (at the 2000 officer number and some say that that number is now closer to 3000) even though MN has an estimated .9% of the estimated undocumented people in the country. The "surge," the tactical gear and the assault weapons ICE brandish as well as the use of tear gas even on peaceful crowds feels excessive and also counterproductive of their claim to want to restore "peace" to the communities. Jerry
Robert, it warmed my heart to see you pivot from informing us about complex political topics to taking a call about your granddaughter’s bouncy house. Way to go!
With regard to there being a guardrail for Trump, I’m concerned that as his dementia progresses, those guardrails will fall. My hope is that We the People, as you remind us, will persist if those guardrails crumble. I also hope that, if Trump continues to destroy the NATO alliance and the global economy wobbles, the decline in corporate profits will facilitate Trump’s downfall.
There was mention of Josh Hawley leaning our way. I live in Missouri, we call him wishy washy Josh. I don’t see him developing any strength to stand up for right. I hope he proves me wrong.
We DID something? My sister and I made signs that we put on the Highway overpass, (101) in Santa Barbara. All of our fellow resistors were a bit shy about joining us, so just the two of us stood and waived at the folks who honked their car horns in support. We feel very proud of our overt statement of disgust with. our current administration.
why shy? do they not realize the more protestors the better? have them start by just hanging out with you, or bringing water bottles on a hot day to quench thirsty protestors; anything to ease their shyness and hopefully become more involved. I know i'm always a bit nervous someone(s) are going to drive by with heavy duty rifles, or use their car to mow down protestors, but i can accept that for myself if our protests eventually work to oust this president and administration.
Yes, you did something to be proud of!! Maybe your friends will follow your lead.
Are you familiar with the Visibility Brigade? You might be able to find others in your area to join you or you them? They have a toolkit on their website.
And I am encouraging everyone to follow Robert and Jess’s lead. I just re-gifted Trump my trophy from
Back in high school when I was first runner-up my county’s Junior Miss pageant. I sure hope it makes him feel better so he doesn’t keep doing such stupendously horrific things. I really would love everyone to clean out their closets and use the hashtag #TrophiesForTrump. Memes are clever but giving him our own precious participation items are meaningful.
I don’t know how to share my video other than tell you that I posted it on my Substack and on all my social media platforms. I’m happy to email it to anyone for inspiration.
I thought I’d figure it out, but I’m only putting it there in notes. Maybe I have to do it at my computer instead of my phone. And to answer your other question, I honestly don’t care if people actually try to mail them or share on social media. I simply wanted to create a hashtag that people could use so we could build some momentum for people to use their own actual trophies, metals, or certificates. Anything other than using fake memes that I think may be amusing but less impactful, I may be wrong. It has happened once before.🤣
I will be bold and put a link in to my nascent Substack, Legally French. I write about differences between France and the US, mostly with humor. My latest, about ICE and the uprising in Iran is, however, not terribly funny as you might imagine. It's free and occasional. I know the Substack space is very crowded.
I love the pic of the dog imploring Ice Barbie to not shoot him. It has become glaringly obvious that she thinks as little of seeing human beings being shot as she did shooting her own dog.
Thank you Robert for giving us hope and a call to action. The below is from my niece, who lives in rural western Wisconsin, about 40 miles from my hometown of Minneapolis. I was very encouraged by the response from Tammy Baldwin's office:-) I had suggested the possibility of a Go Fund Me to get these men back home.
I just sent our elected officials the following. The Indian restaurant business referenced is the one that was frequented by your brother Jim, which he highly recommended to us.
Two days ago, 10 ICE agents walked into our local truck stop in rural western Wisconsin. The employees there, who are all of Indian descent, were not concerned, because they all have legal work visas. The ICE agents took all three employees who presented legal work visas, disregarding the paperwork proving that these men were not in violation of any laws. The men were taken to the Whipple building in St. Paul, and before any legal action could happen on their behalf, they were sent to Texas. They remain in Texas, with the legal recourse to return them to their rightful place of residence has now become their families' personal and financial obligation.
Their business is closed. Their family is broken. The law is not being followed.
ICE is not following the law!! ICE is hurting the economy.
I am asking you, as your constituent, to vote NO on the DHS funding bill unless it:
1)Rejects increased funding for ICE or Border Patrol
2) Restricts ICE and Border Patrol's ability to conduct dragnet arrest operations
3) Ends Border Patrol deployment to our cities
4) Limits DHS's reprogramming and transfer authority
The people you represent are being directly negatively impacted by ICE activity. NOT by immigrants.
*Keep up the fight, Mary 🩷
Thanks, Mary. Great idea. There is a lot of community involvement and a lot of fundraising happening.I will look more specifically into how these families are doing.
I was very encouraged yesterday, as I got a nearly immediate response from a real person in Tammy Baldwin's office wanting to know more about the Indian men who were detained. They are connecting with the manager of the truck stop for a first hand account, are offering casework support and are wanting to connect with the men's families and lawyers. I will keep you posted about what the good people out there are doing 🩷.
Send this information to Congressman Tom Tiffany, who represents the 7th district in Wisconsin. He is currently running for Governor. This morning he went on record as saying the ICE agents are just doing their duty , arresting and deporting the immigrant criminals. He then went on to list some of the legitimate terrible crimes some immigrants have committed. Well ok but what about these three men who have done nothing and are legally here.
Thanks for all the coverage in signs, comments, and intro by Robert. PLEASE, also give light to Michael Cohen's sudden HUGE flip to help tr*** and obtain a pardon, and Cohen's 2016 "fixing" of the Katie Johnson (then 13) assault & rape by Epstein and tr***. [See Lev Parnas et al -- Zev Shalev, Dean Blundell, Wajahat Ali, Ellie Leonard, Aaron Parnas -- all on Substack+, all credible, compassionate, trust-worthy individuals.] Had Cohen not "fixed" this atrocious act right before the 2016 election, tr*** would never have been elected. Follow this story to elicit truth now, to help in Epstein files release and whistleblower emergence, and to affect the midterms. Thank you all for paying attention.
I differ markedly from your statement. M Cohen is the best person to write about how Trump's mind works, and has written many articles detailing how Trump plays his narcissism out.
Please enjoy these two witty, wildly creative short videos that illustrate the absurdly vile threats against Greenland and the maddening silence of Congress:
Everyone should begin and end their statements, reports and comments with the statement “Trump is doing…….to avoid releasing the Epstein files”
Thanks for calling out Trump’s tariffs in simple terms: the height of stupidity!! He really is stupid.

Alisa, you can include a like by copying the URL. If you click on the ... next to a Substack post, there is usually an option to copy to clipboard.
Does this work for you?

Yes I could view the TikTok.
Are you really planning to mail it to the White House? Or just start a viral video sensation?
Thank you for all the photos of protestors! May they stay safe and keep warm 🙏❤️
