Yesterday’s newsletter addressed threats to democracy by a radicalized GOP and recounted ugly statements made by extremists in the Republican Party. As always, the negative stories attract more attention and occupy more mindshare than they deserve. In truth, the good in America outweighs the bad (by a lot). But the media doesn’t give those stories the coverage they deserve.
