Watched Lightworkers this afternoon. I loved every minute of the film, and your interview excerpts, Robert, were stellar! I don't think it's a spoiler alert to say Bobby Roth chose the exactly perfect way to end the film.

I am wondering if anyone is aware of any events planned for July 4. I am surprised that I have not seen any plans for mass demonstrations on that day - maybe organizers figure that everyone will be preoccupied with family picnics and barbecues. I've got things to do with family that day too, but we'd love to join with others for a few hours to protest Donald and the rest of his boot-licking entourage. It seems the most approriate way to celebrate, by standing up for our independence from tyranny. So if anyone knows of anything planned, please speak up!
does anyone know where to buy the "call your rep in Congress, 5calls.org," the "register to vote, every vote counts" and the "heal your family turn off fox" signs? I've been googling, but haven't found anything yet. I could draw those signs myself, but I don't think there's any way to get the QR codes on the signs. Thank you.
Bari Weiss's ruin of 60 Minutes is criminal. I've been watching 60 Minutes since Mike Wallace and Harry Reasoner began their careers in 1968. My fifty-eight year Sunday night routine will no longer include watching 60 Minutes because of it's obvious racist ties to DJT's fascist, malevolent, narcissistic, and single-minded pecuniary policies/desires.
The Arkansas Democrat Gazette newspaper is reporting that a Jan. 6 rioter has been hired to work inside the Pentagon in the office that manages highly sensitive classified information. Elias Izzarry has been assigned to the irregular and warfare and Special Operations office. The assault on the rule of law just keeps coming. So discouraging.

I'm as white as the snow and I despise the racists on the Supreme Court. I learned decades ago that Black people are people, period. As I understand it, there is no guarantee that redrawing the districts will automatically mean Republicans win. I think a lot of people who never paid attention are now awake and aware, and I'm heartened by the fact that the crowd that marched on the Tennessee capital was multiracial and multigenerational. I would LOVE it if a huge crowd of Americans--Black, white, Latino, mongrel, you name it--voted for the Democrat and kicked the Klan to the curb even in a majority-white district.
This is an awesome Robert post! My take: Why should America that has gone through the Civil War, Reconstruction, and Jim Crow have 6 racist judges on the Supreme Court? White supremacy rules in USA in 2026? Nice. This is who we are? Pathetic! All of the reforms that Robert mentions MUST be done! Pulte is gross and incompetent for DNI post. We need to pull the plug, one pull at a time. For example, late last night I found myself ordering a Pope Leo XIV t-shirt! His "How can you stay quiet?" quote seemed a perfect and personalized complement to your "This all stops when enough of us say No," Robert. My color choice: Berry. Just couldn't do the papal red!
I'm agnostic--I can't decide either way--but I'd wear a Pope Leo t-shirt. I didn't know such a thing existed; I'm off to Google it. I already have a RESIST frog t-shirt and one with Zelensky on it, so I'll have to add the Pope. Hey, I'm from Chicago too. :D
Per WSJ on Bill Pulte, now that Himself has shown John Cornyn the door can just hit him on the butt on his way out, Cornyn pipsqueaks that Pulte may not have right qualifications for DNI.
I agree with Robert. This Supreme Court is racist. I'm amazed that a black man (Clarence Thomas) would be playing along. The 6 conservatives on the court are corrupt. We need to expand the court, eliminate the shadow docket and much more after we win a trifecta in 2028.

I HAD to comment on another OPINION piece in the NYTIMES today where three well paid women tried to put the kibosh on the effectiveness of the NOKINGS protests and protests in general. It raised my hackles that these three no doubt well paid by the NYTIMES were downplaying the positive vibes we get from action and organization! Have they no heart for the people we are protesting for and about? Are they such utter idiots that they do not feel we can instill positive action from our anger? My grandmother went to jail, heavily pregnant with my oldest aunt and I am going to stand up to such foolishness these women portray? Thank you all again for your actions, your phone calls, your witness for the better world we want BACK in this country.

2. I continue to urge what others have, which is the term "John Crow Court" or "John R. Crow Court", for reasons this latest shadow docket diktat--which is really all it is--makes crystal clear.
3. Question: Robert, at one point you or someone suggested that Congress and a Dem President could pass legislation which moves the majority of "Supreme" appellate function to one of the district courts, leaving the current SCOTUS with only a stripped down, constitutionally required purview. I would hate to see the three women justices who function as good jurists--Sotomayor, Kagen and KBJ--stranded on that small patch of dry ground, but it might be worth it? Is that a possibility?
