One blogger said, and I paraphrase, 'The civilization lost was our own." "Profound" yes.

We were in the bushes of Botswana with no electricity, no running water, no toilet, no shower for 7 days. Just emerged last night. On our way back we felt the effects of Trump's evil insanity. Fuels in many African nations are being rationed. Prices of everyday items went through the roof already and food insecurity started to creep in. However, the impoverished world still looks UP to the USA for things good. I felt like crying.

A great many of us believe that Trump should be impeached if the Democrats retake the House. That said, I think it would be a serious mistake to place impeachment at the top of the new blue majority’s agenda.

Democrats should establish and act urgently on a “to do” list that tracks the priorities of the voting public. Put another way, they should demonstrate that under the new leadership, getting even will take a back seat to getting better.

Robert- I am a total fan of your letter, founding and steadfast member. I have only one beef with you! Please stop characterizing Trump's reversals as "caving!" So many outlets do this and it only eggs him on to try to rescue his measly pride! How about saying "he made the right choice when he decided not to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity"

Who cares if he puffs himself up as a result? He's less dangerous than if he feels that next time he better carry through to avoid being called a coward!!!

It has been troubling me a lot that media do this over and over and I hope you stop adding to that dangerous characterization...

Thank you for considering...

What's new? If trump pays no attention to our own constitution, why should he pay any attention to the Geneva Convention? If he has heard of it, I bet he couldn't say one accurate thing about it.

Billionaires make money from the war, crazy swings in the stock market, and so far,

the instability everywhere. It was ever thus.

The photos of the wonderful folk out protesting gave me such a lift just now. Thank you for including those—I get so inspired! Heading out this afternoon to our local weekly Wednesday “Somos Inmigrantes” solidarity gathering.

I'd like to recommend Katy Tyndall for your interview series. She's running for Kansas House district 4, which has been a victim of Ron Estes for too long. Katy has the right ideas, is committed, and has the background needed to have a shot at getting rid of Estes. Kansas has been under the thrall of the Koch brothers for too long, and I'd love to see Katy get a boost that could help her break their hold. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1JPAgwrbNn/ Thank you!!

Thank you, Robert. Tuesday was a truly horrible day. We need to start the process to impeach 47. NOW!!!!!

Great interview with Patrick Roath. I don’t live in his district, but just donated to his campaign. This is a great thing to be doing! I hope you’ll do more interviews like this.

How do we make sure he gets impeached or removed by 25th amendment? This absolutely must happen asap. Calling our reps and senators? Daily hourly? These idiots in the House and Senate must know he can’t continue as our President. He’s insane and has the nuclear codes. Pete Hegseth is also insane and very violent. He needs to be gone yesterday. I’ll do the calling. Any other tips are welcome.

Neither will happen. But he can be neutered IF CONGRESS DOES IT'S JOB! You know, the one the Constitution says it has!

Got that right, Eva! Especially when, alas, we're finding out just how few teeth the Constitution has, written, as it was, when expectations for honorable behavior on the part of the legislators were much higher (or so I've heard).

We should learn from the GOP, that repetition often becomes reality in people's minds, take 'fake news', 'voter fraud', '---is a hoax'. The more people talk about the 25th amendment, the greater the chances it will become a reality. We don't need to repeat that it probably won't happen, start to repeat it as if it will.

The King of "The Art Of The Deal" calls the 10 point plan from Iran a good starting point for negotiations. It's a super lousy deal that he probably doesn't understand that it's all in Iran's favor. Although doubtful, he needs to be removed from office via the 25th. Amendment or impeachment and conviction. The second option might only happen after the midterms if the Dems take control of both houses of Congress.

Can you please address the real possibility of CA having a Republican governor (one Trump-backed, the other an Oath Keeper)? I wonder why Newsom isn’t sounding alarms about these primaries? And some background on Oath Keepers, https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/pra-presents/id1772137149?i=1000672296165

The 10 points sound like an unconditional surrender of the US. Wow, so much better than what we had before.. NOT!
